Survival Hatchet - Great for Camping, Survival and Outdoors
While a spontoon hawk, a less popular alternative to most tomahawks, was known for its blade expressly designed for piercing and capable of delivering deep punctures, it offered little to no utility value, despite being undeniably fearsome and brutally effective. Often found with a sloping or diamond-shaped point and sharpened on both sides, these spontoon hawks are extremely rare today (outside of the cheapest quality imports).
To remedy this situation, we have decided to offer our own models of spontoon hawks, available in a faux pipe hawk style. These feature classic sloping and diamond-shaped blades that can be fully sharpened. The blade is expressly designed for piercing and is capable of delivering deep punctures.
Crafted with tough and durable drop-forged 1055 carbon steel, our spontoon hawks boast a durable American Hickory wood handle. Measuring 22 inches in length and weighing 28.4 ounces, these tactical and military-oriented tools are built to withstand the demands of their intended use.
