Featuring the classic guard and ball-shaped pommel of years gone by, this machete boasts the added strength and durability found with full-tang construction and modern materials. Crafted from spring-tempered 1055 Carbon steel and hand-sharpened at our facility in Ventura, California, the Gladius Machete is built to last.

The handle is made from high-impact Polypropylene, making it almost impervious to the elements and incredibly rugged. This durable construction, combined with the tough and durable 1055 Carbon Steel blade with a black baked-on anti-rust matte finish, ensures that the Gladius Machete can withstand even the most demanding tasks.

Measuring 18 inches in blade length, 7 7/8 inches in handle length, and with a 2.8 mm blade thickness, the Gladius Machete weighs in at a sturdy 27.2 ounces. The overall length of the weapon is 26 7/8 inches.

For added safety and carrying convenience, the Gladius Machete comes complete with a durable Cor-Ex sheath. It's important to note that most machetes and hatchets are shipped with dull edges, as the expectation is that the customer will sharpen the blade to make it safer for transport.
